I would like to point out that most the people not recommending it are looking for story when that’s not the purpose of this anime. This anime revolves around Ray White adapting to a normal life after facing a past that prevented him from having emotions. This series is a slice of life regarding him opening up to new people despite people hating on him for his status. It’s like The Irregular at Magic High School only the MC actually improves his emotions and there’s no major plot. Many anime like this one get rated lower than they should because the viewer failed to understand the purpose of the series.
I recommend this series to those just looking for something to enjoy the day with, not for those looking for in depth plot. If you’re looking for that with this style, then go to the Irregular at Magic High School which also has two movies and a good behind the scenes spinoff (the Honour at Magic High School).
And must I say that the opening and ending fit in BEAUTIFULLY! One of the most impressive sound designs I’ve ever heard and the opening gives me chills every time. Reminds me of how Re:Zero did their endings, but with the opening instead. That opening is a masterpiece!
Overall understanding what the point of this anime is, 8/10. The art style took a few episodes to get used to but Amelia and the others made me see how cute it is once getting used to it.
