the idea of a little girl and her " oriental" friends working together to solve mysteries is pretty unique.
However this anime is kinda everywhere
it's not intense dramatic, romance nor is it that hardcore mystery crime solving type.
which could be a good thing or a bad thing just saying just dont expect too much of one genre its a combination of everything .
