Throughout the anime, we get to experience many moments where everyone loosens up their joints and becomes flexible in their way of fighting. We also see them get a major power-up since the first season and also a huge upliftment to their stamina and strength when we compare them themselves from the Mugen-Train Movie. This season lives on as a continuation of the movie and therefore, just adds more oomph to the anime and gives us a fresh story besides all the hustle and bustle that Demon Slayers have in their lives. Unlike the first season where serious scenes were mostly cut-off by comedy, the second season involves less of that and this actually works well in terms of story progression as it helps to minimize scenes that make no sense in the anime and fills in the viewers with everything that is going on.

The connections between all the characters are profound and that uplifts it even more, so when things go south, you can say that it literally pierces your heart and shatters it to pieces.
