"HELL'S PARADISE"
Genre- Ninja, Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Historical, Gore, Shounen, Samurai.
Is there a real meaning to living? Do we live just for another day, to do the same thing over and over again, and if so, then is there really a point to what we call living? And if the answer is yes, then what does death mean to this pointless existence? Is death the fate that ultimately catches up with us, or is it a messenger that brings us a turn of events that not even life could throw at us?
Captured and separated from the love of his life, the legend called 'Gabimaru the Hollow'
...
patiently awaits the day when someone can finally kill or execute him, but to his surprise, his body refuses to give in to ending him as he has his wife waiting back at home for him. Grabbing the opportunity in front of him to receive an official pardon from an execution, Gabimaru, along with other inmates and executioners, goes off to an island named 'Paradise' to bring back the "Elixir of Life". But unlike a simple in-grab-and-out mission, this time each of their nightmares takes shape when the dangers and horrors of the island begin to hunt them, preventing them from leaving or even existing. The anime has a well-thought-out concept about religion and beliefs, different forms of martial arts and fighting, and human malice. It fuses the backstories of characters in a way that you can connect with each and every one of them, and while it may seem a little out of the ordinary to focus on the side characters, this turns out to be just the thing that encaptures you and prevents you from moving from your seat.
The animation of the anime is done flawlessly, enticing you even more to complete the whole season in one go, and regardless of its cliffhanger-type ending, it gives us hope that there is more coming our way, so it is best that we hold on to everything this journey is going to bring to us.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."

"LIAR LIAR"
Genre- School, Suspense, Game.
In the hopes of finding that one person, Shinohara joins the 'Academy Island' where everything from money, respect, authority, etc. are waged in the form of games. With an infinite number of games, every student has the power to challenge others no matter their rank or class.
Academy Island has the concept of 'seven stars' which means the person holding the highest amount of stars is deemed as the most powerful. And the higher your stars count goes, the higher your chances of being a target for everyone else in the academy. The anime revolves around a lie that our MC must
...
keep up from being expelled from the school. It has a setting similar to "No Game No Life" and "Kakegurui" where our MC must play a game to prove he is the strongest and win each and every battle to keep up the act of being the fastest ever seven-star. While the games are fun and enticing, the anime seriously lacks character chemistry. With just a little bit of thought on each character's involvement with others, the anime could've made them a little more wholesome and complete.
Also, the anime incorporates side characters that don't mean much to the show, so eliminating them will be a better idea to focus more on the MC's story rather than focusing its time on their build. Coming to its production, the anime has a really subtle/ budgeted animation, so it would be a good idea to up that a bit in case there was ever going to be a second season for it.
This anime is recommended for every "GAME" anime lover.

"CLASSROOM FOR HEROES"
Genre- Action, Fantasy, Ecchi, School.
Sick of his life as the 'Great Hero', Blade now lives as an ordinary high school student at 'Rosewood Academy'. Hiding his past from all the students attending the academy, Blade aims to make everyone there his friend and live out a completely ordinary and subtle life. Notwithstanding that someone's past doesn't leave them completely, this anime brings to us a story about an overpowered hero now turned ordinary and his new high school life.
Classroom For Heroes is set in a time when the concept of human civilization has been far lost in time and now the world feels
...
more like an evolved version of the Earth where humans & other beings can use magic and supernatural powers. A fantasy anime that tells us the tale of a hero who has performed his duty and now lives life his way after the war has been won. From the get-go, this is an anime that really captivates you. Not only does the anime have an interesting plot but it also brings nice animation and cliche scenes, which makes this an anime perfect for some getaway. While it may have the same overpowered plot about an MC, it still manages to take your mind off things with its chaotic epilogues and hilarious confrontations between the characters. It has a decent load of ecchi mixed in it, but not in a way that diverts your mind off to different fantasy lands.
Not only does the anime feel like a much-needed breather from all the chaos that succumbs us in daily life, but it also has room for further improvement in the coming times. With a better persona development for each character and small changes to its epilogues, this anime definitely has the potential to keep continuing.
This anime is recommended for every "FANTASY" anime lover.

"KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World"
Genre- Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Isekai, Seinen, Parody.
What are the dangers of a cult? Is it the unyielding faith that you must have in an idol? Is it the things that you do for the group? Or is it the future that follows you after you join a cult? While each is deviant in its way, they are nothing compared to the daily torture you endure once you are forced into a cult by friends, subordinates, or even family!
Yukito's past life ended when his father drowned him in the name of winning favors for his child from the goddess
...
that they worship. During his rebirth, Yukito wishes for a world where the concept of God does not exist, and this later changes into an adventure unlike anything you might have seen before. The whole anime is a troll to the entire internet community as it has graphics, animation, and scenes that just surprise you in every way possible. And despite it being a massive troll, this anime has a solid storyline that revolves around 'Gods and Archons.' It shares with you the horrific backstories of each character and in more than one way shows you the side-effects of joining a cult. It brings forward the horrible deeds that are done in the name of religion.
In animation and technicality, this anime ranks right at the bottom but because it is anything but a parody, you end up enjoying it more than you thought you would. It has bad 3Ds of monsters, and actual videos of the world popping up here and there but even so, this is one such anime you can enjoy if you want to take a break and watch something different. One such anime that gives you the perfect break from the anime world that you need.
This anime is recommended for every "COMEDY" anime lover.

"EDENS ZERO"
Genre- Adventure, Action, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Space, Shounen.
What does it mean to have a heart? Does it mean to be human? Does it mean to be alive and kicking and if so then are these the only things that come with you having a heart? Where do emotions, feelings of fear/anxiety/anger/happiness and sadness stand? Who and when can we consider someone a being with a heart? And if having a heart means being human, what about those AI/androids that develop feelings? Are they merely just tools that are to be used and discarded or are they someone who can become so close to you that
...
your own family feels unfamiliar to you?
These are the foremost questions that strike you with each episode of this anime. While it has a super strong plot of Shiki going on a journey to make 100 friends and on a mission to meet Mother, you cannot help but ponder upon these questions as each emotion is felt to you so vividly. It has an adventure unlike any other and a masterful display of emotions that can take you on a ride. With a sadistic and harsh but truthful side of humans, Edens Zero presents you a story that makes you wonder each step about what it means to be a friend and what it means to have a heart.
Throughout the season you get a feeling like 'this is the beginning of something great' and even as the 1st season ends you cannot help but wonder what the sequel has in store for you. With its crisp and perfect animation to even better plot and setting of the anime, this is just one of those series that call out the inner Otaku in you. With its perfect balance of laughter, seriousness, karma, and pitch-perfect fantastical powers, this is the one show you should consider adding to your list.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."

"RECORD OF RAGNAROK: SEASON 2 PART 1"
Genre- Action, Drama, Fantasy, Mythology, Seinen.
With the start of its second season, Record of Ragnarok resumes the final battle between mankind and Gods. With an even more heated arena than the first three fights, the second season delivers all it promised and leaves as a cliffhanger during the end of its prequel.
In this season we witness two heavenly fights one between Hercules, the fame of Greece, and Jack the Ripper, the renowned serial killer on the streets of London, and the second between Raiden, the best Sumo wrestler, and Shiva, the Indian God of Destruction. And believe me, nothing
...
can prepare you for the things you will witness in this second bout. With the backstories of all the characters and their strengths, this season brings you a whole new array of emotions and feelings. It depicts the hardships of humans in a society, the challenges faced by Gods to get accepted in the realm, and even the sacrifices made by bystanders so that everything happens as time had planned it. It speaks to you about the importance of friendship, the void mind of someone without any love, and the struggles of those who must carry on for others' sake.
While the anime may seem all about fighting if you can look between the lines and understand the story of each fighter, it is then that you can enjoy this anime even more. On its technical side, the second season brings to you a much-needed 3D style of animation at times that help refine the fight and increases your interest in the anime. All in all, this anime truly leaves you at the edge of your seat as you cannot predict what might happen next.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."

"I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too"
Genre: Action, Adventure, Isekai, School, Fantasy
Living a life where people are constantly judging and harassing you for the way you are is the truth of the world that we live in. Not only are those people the ones you could call friends or classmates, but they are also the ones you consider family. From being misled and treated poorly for how you are on the outside, this society constantly makes it their goal to give you the worst treatment ever. So much so that you would wish that you were
...
better off dead.
But for those that push through these troubled times and live on to experience all that the future holds, like our protagonist Yuuya Tenjou, then you might experience that last bit of luck that life has in store for you. Being bullied for his obese appearance throughout his life, Yuuya one day encounters a door to another world that levels him up and changes his life forever. From gaining skills and experience as an adventurer and a monster slayer in another world, Yuuya's life changes overnight into something he might consider a fantasy or something 'too good to be true.' With a simple but unique approach to Isekai, this anime has it all if you want to see an overpowered MC and perfect revenge for those who mistreated him.
And along with its out-of-the-way plot, this anime also gives you a real thrill with its animation, as it takes a more detailed approach in every scene and refines the art to make it even more pleasant and worthwhile. All in all, this is one of those anime that you must watch to understand the gist of it and beg the producers for another season.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."

"Hataraku Maou-sama!!"
Genre- Action, Magic, Comedy, Fantasy.
Living in a world that is not yours and constantly being misunderstood by those around you at times can get vexing but if you remember the good in your heart and focus on the things that matter, then you might just see the path that is made for you. Be it a human, an angel, a devil, or a lord, each of us has a part of his own in this life, and how we choose to spend it makes everything a lot more different and unique.
The second season of Hataraku Maou-sama furthers the story of the devil working as
...
a part-timer. Unlike the first season, the sequel revolves more around character development and little-hearted short events that happen in the everyday life of Maou and Emilia. And even though it has a main storyline of Gabriel descending on Earth or a heavenly purpose, it keeps that on the sidelines and focuses primarily on 'Alas Ramus' and other short events until the ending of 2 episodes. This sequel stands to lay out a solid foundation for season 3, making it a season that you should watch to get a hang of all new characters and their involvement.
The animation is drastically reduced in this season. From basic scenes to fighting scenes in the anime, you no longer have that 'oomph' to pump to up. It ignores the fine details that the prologue, which may or may not take your interest off the anime. But if you do not consider animation to be one of the key factors, and solely watch anime for its story, then this is one that you mustn't skip.
This anime is recommended for every "FANTASY" anime lover.

"THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME 2ND SEASON PART 2"
Genre- Action, Adventure, Comedy, Isekai, Fantasy.
With the coming of the new age, things are bound to change, and just like that, evolutions keep taking place without us even noticing. They might be as big as an evolution of a human to a monster or as small as a leaf turning to dust. Still, without fail, evolution does happen and in the second part of season 2, we see just that with the "Jura Tempest Federation" and its residence.
The 2nd part is more inclined towards politics, the build-up of the story for season 3, and
...
more than anything the introduction of characters that we are likely to see further in the coming seasons. Halting us with the defeat of the 'Kingdom of Falmuth' in its prologue, the 2nd part starts right where it left off and resumes the story of what different policies Rimuru must apply to further his goal of living in harmony with monsters and humans. This season also shows you the growth of all characters from the last war, making the second part more in sync with the reality of how a nation functions and how each individual grows in their own war after something terrible.
All the while that it does that, this season also helps to lay the foundation of season 3 as it introduces us to key characters in the anime and gives us a rough insight into what we are to expect. The animation deteriorates a little compared to the prologues, but given the amazing fight scenes in the end, you can say it might have been just worth it to save budget in the beginning and go all out at the end.
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."

"THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME 2ND SEASON"
Genre- Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Magic, Isekai, Demon.
Everyone has a vision for the future. Be it an average living individual, a hero, a democrat, a demon lord, or a being as simple as slime, everyone has a vision that they wish to uphold or achieve in the coming future. And it is with that vision of theirs that they wish to bring comfort, joy, prosperity, and harmony into the place and those that surround them.
Starting right where it left off, the second season dives deeper into the story of Rimuru's nation of monsters. With more oncoming foes
...
that view them as a threat to sly demon lords that pull strings behind the scenes, this season takes the top spot in regard to action and full-on battles. Like its prologue, this season also dives deep into the lives of other characters in the setting, and with a clear goal of 'acceptance of monsters to co-exist with humans', this season further pushes the story forward, making it all the more amazing and profound.
The animation this time around also remains the same as the prologue and, with an even better development of MC's character, I can say that this season steals your heart with its story. It ends in a cliffhanger, but that's just another way to say, "there is more coming, so wait for it!"
This anime is absolutely a "MUST WATCH."
