It mixes the well known aspects of slice of life and romance anime that I have come to adore over the years (i.e. it's cute, hilarious, and heartwarming). But the drama and emotional elements are also handled so extremely well, legit cried from multiple viewings of the show. The development of Ryuuji and Taiga's relationship is beautiful. And SPOILER warning: their relationship from start to finish was developed extraoridnalrily well, one of the best developed relationships I have ever seen in a romance anime.
Taiga going from a spoiled and rude character to developing an emotional and gentle side over the sourse of the show was a great experience to see.
10/10 cannot recommend this show enough. A great starter anime for the romance/slice of life genre.
