I get it if people don't like it. It's a lot. I'm typically not one fan-servicey, ecchi type stuff (especially since it tends to be solely for those attracted to female bodies, this show is actually a tiny bit better about that), but they do provide an explanation at some point for why it 'has to be that way'.
Is it just an excuse to draw mostly naked bodies? Maybe? Probably?
But they do touch upon this idea a couple of times throughout the show, that we humans shouldn't have so much shame about our naked bodies, which is not an attitude shared by most societies, so I think it's an interesting point, that maybe that shame isn't innate.
Anyway, it's very fast-paced and action-packed, Satsuki's heel click is absolutely iconic, and there's actually a really touching story in there. I also find the over-the-top absurdity quite comical. If you do too, you will probably enjoy watching kill la kill :)
