The greatest part of the light novel was how it went at a nice slow pacing to build of the relationship between the two main leads.
A lot of in story time has pasted since they meet and to where the story is by volume 4.
The anime is adapted around 5 chapters per episode when in my opinion it should be more around 2-3 chapters per episode.
Another problem I have with this show is the studio making it Project No.9. The light novels art by Hanekoto is breathtaking while Project No.9 is just bad and just look flat.
The light novel is slow and is mostly just the characters talking which works well as a book it does not translate well into a tv show and it just feels dull as you watch barely animated characters talking, *cough* *cough* Project No.9.*cough* *cough*
Overall the style and vibe that made me fall in love with this light novel as been sucked out of the anime making a shell of what it could have been.
To put my thoughts best in to words "I'm not mad just disappointed."
