Spoiler
This is a review for episode 1015 in particular.

Episode 1015 of one piece easily sits alongside the greatest tv episodes ever produced. Thanks to the efforts of The Phenomenal Episode director Megumi Ishitani and all the talented staff, #1015 will be remembered as an all-time classic.
It is baffling to me that this episode only adapts a single chapter and yet is the most memorable episode in the franchise. #1015 serves as the microcosm for the series as a whole as it touches the main themes of one piece and also re-establishes Luffy as an unfaltering force of liberation who will bring dawn to the world of one piece.
The dream sequence animated by Masami mori is literally the best piece of character animation I have ever witnessed. Loved the animation style of the dream scene. Loose and simple drawings with a very distinct style of aesthetic like using red color for the past and using green for the present which was visually appealing. After that comes my favorite scene in fiction which is Yamato realizing the future and the past pirate kings have said the same thing. What an outstanding parallel, simply unrivaled, if I had to describe this scene in one word it will most definitely be Masterpiece.
Megumi ishitani uses a lot of lens flares and she is so fond of chromatic aberration which we thoroughly witness in the little yet the most impactful recap flashback. The transitions, the photography, the tonal shifts, the ost used everything has a significance and carries a lot of emotional weight
