The story was excellent and I loved the way it progressed. Learning more about the parasites and how they slowly adapted to society was great. It has a nice cast, not necessarily one in which you get attached to the characters a lot but Shinichi, Migi, and Ryouko were AMAZING. I mean Shinichi's growth and development were just amazing to see. MIGI'S growth was my fave of all. Especially in the ending it actually made me cry. Ryouko was also an amazing character. I didn't feel bad for her death because it was an appropriate ending for her. I'm not giving it a 10 because I felt as though in the middle the pacing was a bit slow, maybe that isn't the case for others but it was to me personally. It felt like the plot wasn't going forward a lot. But then it picked up again so it's okay. The ending was satisfactory. I loved the ideology. I love the fact that the parasite weren't all killed but were accepted as a species. They're a species too and are deserving of living too. They also learned how to live alongside humans which I love. The ideology was just great. Overall enjoyed this anime a lot and would def recommend it!
