If I were to compare the two seasons overall, I would be more incline to state that this season is worse than the first, but only by a small margin. Honestly, the first half is definitely worse and feels like the main storyline is almost being pushed off. However, I think the second half really brings out the impact I was worried this would not have.


Honestly, it feels like Studio Bones massively improves with every single anime. This art style is beautiful, an improvement on the first season and the characters and scenery all give a very warm feeling. They have also definitely improved their animation on rain.


I found that the music was lacking the same impact during this season - almost as if some songs that were not in the original series just felt thrown in/thrown together.


Vanitas (Quack, Kin of the Blue Moon, Vincent, No.69) - The titular protagonist.
