That is the biggest downfall of this movie. THis movie tried to cram an entire season worth of story into 80 minutes, and in the end, no one could see their stories develop satisfactorily. It was completely rushed.
Not only that, but the story itself makes no sense competition wise. They played one of the most sophisticated and well executed pieces at literal world class level, and they didn't even make the top 3, like, really????? It just makes no sense.
All in all, they felt like a recap movie for a season that doesn't exist, with a result that feels very contrived to force them to lose.
