Mixed Feelings
Tl;dr
If you like Cyberpunk (Can be the game or the genre) and don't mind gritty & explicit stuff.
Then you will enjoy this fun, creative and emotional rollercoaster under only a span of 10 episodes.

Artistic and Entertainment Merit: 2/2
Was fun and creative

Recommendation: 1/2
Recommended if you like Cyberpunk-like gritty stuff:

Narrative Consistency: 2/2
Flawless, I can't think of how to write it any better

Emotional Moments: 1/2
I found One that was very thought provoking.

Bias (History, Magic Systems, Idealogue): 1/2
It has a rich world and History, Magic System is alright (Implants) but idk about Idealogue depth.
Seeing the lingo, the vibe, the music choice down to even the design exudes a sense of a world lived in. I can vibe with that.

In depth:

The creative direction is impeccable and it was very fun to watch this anime, the action is intense and the animations smooth. The voices and sound design is punchy and pulls you into night city.
I really can't think of how the anime could be any better in terms of Narrative consistency. It did what it set out to do, and it did it perfectly.

As for my gripes,
Everyone hyped this up like its absolute peak fiction. I don't know, I didn't get the same feel out of as I would have had I watched something like FMAB, Haikyuu or Steins;Gate.
Plus, I am not really into the Cyberpunk theme and all that futuristic stuff.

Credit where its due, I definitely recommend this to people who like this sort of stuff. This is something Akudama Drive could only ever Dream of being. The emotional moments didn't hit me as hard, rather seeing Night city as something of an inevitable future of Humanity really got me thinking so Ill give it that, and most people would cry at the ending I guess.
I like Night City is organic and it's own thing, irrespective of what the main cast does. Not a huge fan of Cyberware, but they obey Sandersons Laws of Magic. We get to see how insane the implants are, from Netrunners to the Sandevistan Military Grade and even the <spoiler> at the end, However the reality of their limits is made apparent with the threat of Cyberpsychosis and something else that is a spoiler.

Overall, it was a fun and creative ride. Go give it a watch if you like Cyberpunk like or futuristic stuff, but if you don't then I don't think you are really missing out on anything. Then again its only 10 eps so you might as well.
