This manga is about a mercenary that roams around the world to seek revenge and achieve his goal. This idea manga may sound generic but this manga is first published back in the 90s(so I don't think there's any similar concept as Berserk). In the early volume, Berserk's story pacing starts slow so it probably discourages some readers to read more into the story. And then Berserk finally builds up its story like a fucking madman, the author goes Berserk (no pun intended) writing some High-level/Omni-level story, putting readers to read even more and getting invested in its story. Until there is no further build-up to this story. The manga suddenly reverts back to its old way, being a slow pacing manga and so much filler that didn't have any purpose to its story. You probably tell me that it's for the sake of the story and just be patient, bear with it. Bro, the manga is already running since 1990 and some of us probably start reading Berserk a long time ago. They probably already have kids and didn't have any time/lose interest in this manga. This manga is wasting more time than it should've had. Every arc in this manga goes: "Guts arrives in the city, slaying monsters, saving stranger, making the stranger his friend, repeat". This manga should've ended somewhere in the 2010s.
Art - 10/10
I think we all agree that the art is just so good. Some of you probably didn't like it because of how grotesque the monster is, but that's my point. It's so grotesque to the point that I forgot this creature in front of my eyes is created by human. How the hell did he manage to pull it off for every single monster he drew?. His art isn't only about monster/human/thriller detail, if you take a look at the background you notice that the painting is very detailed in every panel, it's so breathtaking. I like it, but if you didn't want these monsters to come into your nightmare/easily puked by something gross, this isn't suited for you.
Character - 9/10
The characterization of every character is morally correct, not every solution comes with a happy ending. Every solution comes with its character's own resolution. This Manga is a good example of characterization, not every bad guy can redeem themself. They take action based on what they think whether its beneficial to them either morally or inhumanely. It's not as nearly as perfect as Vagabond tho.

I personally like this manga but not really. I have mixed feelings about it, I like the art and the characters but on the other side I didn't like how slow its story pacing is. The mangaka Kentaro Miura recently passed away in 2021, so I still didn't know if it is still worth it to continue reading Berserk or not. Kouji Mori recently continued Berserk to honor his work. The art change is quite noticeable from Kentaro Miura to Kouji Mori, and how short every chapter's panel is now. I'm still not sure about the story building tho because it just recently started and we barely get any updates on the chapter manga.
Overall - 8.75/10
I would really recommend this manga to someone that is a fast reader but didn't miss any detail of its manga, because of how long every chapter is. But if you read this manga slowly, boy this is going to be a wild ride. I wouldn't recommend this manga to someone that is so busy that you barely have spare time to read because there is so much detail in this plot story that is easily forgotten. It isn't really worth reading if you are a casual reader, if you really are curious then read it until chapter 90 and judge it for yourself, do you think this manga is worth the time?. My suggestion if you are willing to read it, wait for new chapters from Kouji Mori and wait for any recent reviews, is it good or no?. I don't want you to potentially waste your time just to get disappointed by Kouji Mori's Berserk.
