Spoiler for Suzume no Tojimari
Well, it depends on one's taste, but I thought I personally liked it better than "Weathering With You".

To put it simply, it was a road movie about a journey from the south to the north of Japan to keep earthworms, the cause of earthquakes, out the door and to fix the person you have a crush on, who has turned into a chair, back to a human being. The content was, as in Japanese anime, sekai kei. (Sekaikei is a story in which it does not matter if the world is destroyed or ends as long as the protagonist and his/her favorite person are alive.)This time, the heroine did not think of a solution, but the world was not sacrificed because there were other beings willing to sacrifice themselves.

☆Story ☆
Normal. Earthquake and sekaikei.

☆Character☆
Normal. There seems to be a detailed setting and background about the cat character, but it is not explained. The voices are played by actors, but I didn't feel more comfortable with them than in the Ghibli film.

☆ Music☆
Below average. I think there were around 4 songs by RADWIMPS.There were about 12 songs that were popular in Japan in the 80's that were played in the movie. Especially, I thought it was wrong to use the song used in the Ghibli movie "The Witch's Delivery Service".

☆picture☆
The beautiful one. I was not surprised at how beautiful it was, since Shinkai's films themselves are beautiful. Only the CG depiction of earthworms was too CG-like and looked strange when combined with the animation.

☆Earthquake☆
Some people, especially those in the Tohoku region who have experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake including Iwate, will be reminded of the trauma of the earthquake in the 10 to 20 minutes of description before the title appears and will not be able to watch the video. I think there are some people who cannot watch the movie because they are reminded of the trauma of the earthquake.

The description of the shaking of the earthquake, the ruined look of the disaster area, the earthquake early warning alarm, the heroine's diary on the day of the 311 Great East Japan Earthquake, these areas are likely to be traumatic for earthquake survivors, so the net After the distribution, some people seem to want to skip the relevant scenes or turn off the sound.

You might like this movie because the earthworm that causes the earthquake is similar to the haunted god from Princess Mononoke.
