But once they get beyond the manga it falls apart really bad.
Certain characters just get no progress and its awful. The designs the music and the animation are all phenomenal but after a certain point, the writers just stop doing their jobs? I have no idea what they were thinking cause the manga manages to hold it together so much better. Like I said I think they just stopped following it and the writers must have went on permanent coffee breaks cause nothing can explain the quality drop
The giant spider mech drifting and the big city sized robot was cool as fuck though.
