Human desires are inexhaustible…It’s as if we were born to pursue them.

In 1982, Yoshimi Uchida drew the Hoshi no Tokei no Liddell series for 3 full episodes and then announced her retirement. She shared that Hoshi no Tokei no Liddell was the last dedicated work when she still had a passion for manga. When Yoshimi Uchida lost her inspiration to write, she could no longer hold a pen. She left the manga world, no longer in contact with anyone in the publishing industry except her friend Matsunae Akemi.

Hoshi no Tokei no Liddell by Yoshimi Uchida is one of the most unique and strange series i’ve ever read, her art is so expressive, And every conversation between characters holds a deep meaning.

Each character has a sad expression on their face, like they’re searching for something, Keep in mind that it is a unique work from others, and that I cannot describe its plot in words. Rather, it is up to you, since different people may experience the same things in different ways.

If I were a poet or author, I would be bursting with words to describe how I felt while reading this. Unfortunately, I am not.

However, I would strongly recommend it.

Let the wind
be the wind,

Let the season
be the season,

Let my thoughts
be my thoughts,

I don’t need
anything to
change.

I don’t need
to say anything.
