To Your Eternity was a storm that feels like years ago that it came, but it was only last year. That scooped us all into a loop, and made it one of the shows to watch for sure. Hitting us with emotional bang, after emotional bang. Hit our sweet spots, like only few shows really could. Now it's continuing, and it's certainly not holding back on those punches either. Let me explain.

Story and characters: 9
Honestly, it hasn't missed a step, and really does feel a continued series, but also throwing us into in a sense, a new pathway of the story. As if it wants to go to the next arc right away, and while that may seem weird, but in a sense, it's needed in order to progress the story in general. While some can view that, as it hurting the story, but the emotional feel still remains in tact, so that it won't be an issue. There is a moment within the second episode even, that really rings home, and hits you in the sweet spot, and reminds you just how far it has come, and how much suffering and sadness it has gone through.

Growth and change are hard to adapt. But this. This certainly has hit the home run, and made the second season, a very interesting product overall because of it. Which may further extent when it comes to talking about the characters. Fushi is far more grown then you've seen in season one, which makes for the difference in tone and direction much more visible. But again, that isn't a bad thing, but more a very big interest tool. While the writing of the first season, really struck well. If it carried on for too long, it might not be as enjoyable. Having Fushi more developed, will make things swim more faster, and still make for an entertaining and tearjerking product. With many new interesting characters to meet along the way.

Art and sound: 9
If you really loved the vibe of the first season, you won't be disappointed here. It's clear that the second season has kept that same level care and details, that will strike across the screen, and with the perfect kind of sound, that will follow throughout scene by scene. Capturing the right kind of tension and feel, that is delivering. I'd also like to give a shout out to reusing the same OP as the first season. Not many series even do this, for this to do it. Really strikes a lot for me, and it should for you as well. Making it feel as if it's not split between seasons, and more one continuing anime that has many more eps, like A Soul Eater for example.

To Your Eternity hit with a bang, and now the second season is following that bang with another, a must watch for this season for sure.
