The animation is the only thing carrying the show. Literally. I look at comments of the episodes, and it is full of people who simply watch for the fanservice. Episode 8 apparently has "THE toothbrush scene", something someone like myself is unaware of because I do not watch anime for the hint of hentai in them. Are 600 thousand viewers really made up of people who watch for these ludicrous scenes? Is this why the show is enjoyable?
No matter how witty some lines are, how great the animation and directing are, some too many scenes just make my brain melt and the cringe and obnoxious feelings are too strong to carry on. What makes it unbearable is how these scenes destroy the whole thing, and the thought that so many people gave a high rating to the show despite all this is just way way way way wayy beyond me.
