This animation is great and there is a lot of attention to detail thanks to an excellent studio making this. The action scenes are impressive but I think the story is very overrated. It needed a couple more episodes, since there is no downtime the characters are not really fleshed out. In terms of the plot, this show is basically 'what it's like to be a edgerunner'. The characters don't voice any desire to upset the status quo. They do missions which is get intel or kill people for money, and once they are done they accept another job. So this show is a window into that life, but that's about it. It doesn't raise any questions. A lot of people like the setting and this mostly scratches that itch, but I don't get a strong emotional reaction. Some shows will stay in your thoughts because they have something worth thinking about, but this one has stayed in my thoughts because I keep seeing people praise it.
