Este anime trata sobre itou kaiji, un vago que tiene muchas deudas, un día le llega la oportunidad de desaparecer sus deudas de una vez por todas, para esto se adentrara dentro de apuestas peligrosas donde incluso SE JUGARA SU VIDAAAA.
Los juegos donde apuesta estan muy bien pensados, al igual que practicamente todo en esta serie, tiene unos personajes muy reales y muy interesantes, sin duda tiene momentos muy tensos y emocionantes y los acompaña con uno de los mejores ost de la historia del anime, sin embargo tiene un gran problema, y es que a veces se puede hacer muy pesado y lento, es un problema que tienen todas las obras de fukumoto (el creador) , pero si soportas eso disfurtaras de uno de los mejores animes que hay por ahí.
