I am straight away saying it that I don't like Boruto bcz it is just super bad, like no one needed this show but still got it.

MIGHT GET SPOILERS BUT THEY ARE USELESS BCZ THIS SHOW IS PREDICTEABLE AND BORING

Here's a couple reasons why it is sh*t:

The protagonist: Boruto Uzumaki himself, the new protagonist, is not even likeable and is just a brat. He hates his dad(Naruto) because he didn't come home.

And after recently graduating the academy he:

1. Possesses three change in chakra natures (Until half of the Fourth Great Shinobi War was over, Naruto only had one)

2. "Subconsciously" added Wind and Lightning Release chakra natures to his Rasengan.(I guess now adding chakra nature change is joke)

3. Got a perfect score on the Academy test without even trying (like this kid who don't do anythink got perfect score and I guess Minato is a fodder. Like seriously!!)

4. Cheated during the Chunin Exams in order to pass and was doing better taijutsu than all 4 Kage combined, and also "defeated" Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

5. Has his own unique dojutsu, even getting some sort of "Otsutsuki Curse Mark" (or cheap Orochimaru curse mark), which is pretty much guaranteed to be extremely overpowered,
What's worse? Boruto doesn't deserve any of it. Like, he's barely had to try to accomplish anything. While Sasuke's entire clan get murdered just to awaken the basic Sharingan, Boruto's gotten his own possibly even more overpowered dojutsu all the while cursing his dad for not coming home.

6. Enormous amount of filler-

Naruto also had this problem but some of its filler are were enjoyable but Boruto tend to drag the fillers on with no real development to any of the characters involved. To make Boruto better, they need to slow the pace of the main story to give the manga time to progress. This would not be as much of a problem if the filler arcs were good, but most of the fillers are not even likeable

7. Other Characters:

The characters of the new era are just completely overpowered. How many people hate Boruto?

I mean, thinking about it, both Naruto and Sasuke took days just to be able to walk on trees, even with Sasuke being a recognized member of the prodigy club, tbh I only like Himawari and Mitsuki from new generation and rest are cheap ripoff/copy of their parents.

8. I suppose that the Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki fight was a good fight, but I seriously think it could've done better if Boruto himself just wasn't there. Because if you've noticed, it was that good because of Naruto and Sasuke themselves.

9. Inconsistent Animation
Boruto has this problem several times, something anyone can quickly point out any time it happens.

10. IF not Boruto then what? -

I would have been happy if they instead gave us a mini series that told us about all the characters that were never really dived into like the past kage or kakashi's dad or so on so forth . But instead we got BORUTO. A story about during the time of peace and what they had to go through to maintain it but BORUTO , so the problem now with BORUTO is that they needed two things : for him to be relatable and they needed a conflict to intrigue us. But the answer for those two things they gave us were the biggest bull sh*t I've ever seen in my life !! It is just DUMB!! To continue Boruto(ripoff of Naruto).

11. Inconsistent power levels-

Power level is just a plot device used to hype up a character for us. When you say a character is at the level of a God, you expect them to be almost invincible. This is a consistent problem with Boruto series has had. Unlike Naruto’s villains who were consistently increasing their power levels, Boruto’s villain are as strong as the plot needs at the moment, without any justification as to why.
for example: Momoshiki was speculated to be stronger than Kaguya, but was defeated by a half-powered Naruto, a tired Sasuke and a Genin Boruto.
There would not be a problem with this if the series gave reasons for these occurrences, but it never explains itself. I got tired of this after a while as Boruto never give's an indication of when or how a villain would be defeated.
like for eg: Isshiki was just too powerful for that point in the series.

12. Learn from Boruto how to waste a sacrifice of a great character who has been with us for 15 years:

Like let me tell you that learn from Boruto writers how to waste a great character for a plot and without even thinking that that character was connected with millions of fans over 15 years and the worst part is that even after that sacrifice the show is just boring.

Yup! You guessed it right it is Kurama's sacrifice (for which I am super mad) like seriously for a 5 min mode (so called Baryon mode) you just killed a character with which we had a special bond like for 15 years, I am sure there could have been a better alternative than this so called Baryon mode like another level of KCM and it would have been better than Baryon mode and I think Isshiki was just too strong to be introduced in the series. I would have accepted Kurama's death if Naruto used all of his jutsus and still wasn't able to defeat Isshiki but inpite of having so many jutsus he used a basic rasengan and same with Sasuke he didn't use any of rinnegan's ability, but instead of so many ablilities and jutsus he used a basic chidori (I know that Isshiki can shrink anything but like if Naruto used 1000 shadow clones and attacked Isshiki from all the sides, then definitely Isshiki count not shrink them all and at least some attacks could have been landed o him and there might been an chance of defeating Isshiki) and now lets talk about Sasuke's rinnegan and man everyone knows the basic rule of shinobi world is "NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN" and Sasuke let his guard down even he knows that the Momshikki or whatever that sh*t is inside boruto.

13. Boruto sidetracked many fan favorite characters-

When the Fourth Shinobi war ended, there were many strong individuals amongst the characters that were still waiting to achieve their full potential. Rock Lee, Choji, Shino, and many others proved how strong they were during the war. When Boruto series arrived, I was excited to see the classic characters back in action. This, however, never happened, as most Naruto characters were sidelined during the Boruto.
for example: Rock Lee has not had a good fight in the series yet, even though he is one of the most powerful Character in the franchise. The new show only focuses on the childrens of former glory of Naruto series, and they for no reason does not utilize the classic characters.
for eg: Anko is mostly used for weight related gags nowadays

14. MANGA-

I'll say that the was good but I don't know why they are also ruining it and the recent chapters are just boring and bad. Although one thing that I criticized the manga from starting was about the less content in the manga; which takes a month to be produced.

15. Technology takes away from the mystical aspect of the franchise-

Naruto’s strengths as a series was the mystical and intriguing power system ninjas use. While technology existed back in the beginning of the series, it was never too prolific or overutilized.

It was obvious that a world at peace would come with a rapid advancement in technology and an increase in its use. Nevertheless, technology seems to be one of the main focuses of the new series.
While the mysticism of Chakra is still there, sometimes it feels like it was forgotten for the new ninja tools and machinery. The world of Naruto needed to progress, but taking away one of its core tenants was a bad idea.

16. The new characters are not enjoyable-

Everyone knows that not every character introduced to the series is going to be an instantly liked. This is a common occurrence since the series was released for as long as Naruto did, since it is obvious that not every character will be successful.

Still, Boruto has a major problem with most of its main characters. The children of our favorite characters feel like a carbon copy of them. Similar names, similar fighting styles and personalities, it is like they are just cloned.
They clearly have their own personality traits and differences, but when you have become attached to a character and a similar one is introduced, you cannot help but compare them. The new generation characters, Boruto introduces are also not what the show needs. Like for eg: Araumi have been hated since the beginning, not because that he is a villain, but because he is just simply annoying.

17. An abundance of Otsutsuki-

One of Naruto’s biggest mysteries was the sudden appearance of the intriguing Otsutsuki clan. We never knew about the new threat until the end of the series, so it was evident that they would play a prominent role in the sequel.

Initially, this was a fresh and interesting concept for the show. But as the series has progressed, the constant mention of Otsutsuki clan members has started to lose its appeal.

18. Boruto fans-

They just give an excuse that "the series will get better, it is just started" like how much time you need there are already 270+ episodes and you say give it time. Some as*holes say that in the fight with Isshiki the side characters fight was not shown bcz they were too weak. OK, then tell me when Pain assaulted the hidden leaf village then why was it Kohanamaru shown fighting one of the six pains though he was so weak against pain? bcz the fight of side characters matter and it plays an important role in the character development of the side characters. So, don't give this shitty excuse that they were weak.

In the end I would say that please make this sh*t Non-Canon bcz it is just destroying millions of childhood memories instead of creating them.

UPDATE-

[JAN 2023]- Manga got more worse, they introduced another shit Otutsuki named SHIBAI, who was introduced because the writers were running out of content and if he was introduced for some main stuff/canon stuff so why didn't they answer these important questions like-

Q1)- How the hell Amando got Shibai's DNA to implant in Eida?
Q2)- If Shibai is said to be so strong Otutsuki, then why didn't any of the previous otutsuki mentioned about him?

It was also mention that ninjutsu is a copy or imitation of Shinjutsu (which was completely dumb bcz it was never mention in Naruto). If you Boruto fans think it is still OK then answer the Question-

Q1)- Why wasn't it mention on the Uchiha stone tablet or mentioned by the Sage of the Six Paths that Ninjutsu is the impaling copy of shinjutsu?
