Everything works from the beautiful animation, the fast-paced, never dull flow, to the amazingly well done dub. Everything. Im not sure if this necessarily a 10, but in my opinion, it's damn near close. The only thing that could push it over that 10 mark would be if we had just 20 more seconds, not even, 10 more seconds of the final moon scene. That would make me think it to be a 10.
Also, this has no order as if just writing sporadically while barely thinking but, every character's dynamic with one another is so good. Kiwi brought up the never trust anyone in night city angle, but in reality, that's not true. Everyone in Maine's crew trusted Maine. Every character had that trust that was required. So Kiwi was definitely trolling with that one. Also, I wish that Adam Smasher was a bit cooler. Make him a little more flashy, rather than the super apathetic small-time character that he was.
The final thing but, Lucy in the final scene was beautiful. When she first arrives on the moon she's not excited, definitely pretty depressed. But after remembering her first date with David when she told him her dream, she gets too bright and beautiful. And happy. That definitely was what pushed it close to that 10. This show is amazing, I hope that in 10 years a show similar to this could be produced and make me feel this way towards an ending, however unlikely that is. Idk what else to write. It's 11 pm and I've been thinking about this show for like an hour. Not thinking about how to write this review, just thinking. Everything is beautiful. Let's all ascend the corporate ladder guys! Is this show a critique of the corporate ladder? Maybe. Probably. The pursuit of power drives those that pursue it to degrade their humanity. Something like that if I was in my AP Literature class.
