I think you should watch the dub if you intend on watching Jojos, so far every single bad review I've seen about Jojos has all been dub watchers. Yes, the dub is kinda shit, please do not watch it in dub then proceed to ignore the sub and then shit on the entire show. I don't think any budget is put into the dubs tbh

I think overall it is
- a good story that allows you to start on a different season sometimes because of the difference in main cast (some people think that this doesn't allow the characters to have significant character development. Which is true to some characters that don't ever reappear)
- part 3s shoulders are a lil blocky. An interesting art style design by the anime studio
- I also tend to like the fact that quite a few arcs aren't about saving the world, its just a person trying to complete their own selfish goals. The goals are justified, but its a break from the classic "I must defeat this villain or the world ends"
