Where should I start?
Tokyo Revengers, the anime that I expected to be "amazing" seems to bad to be true.
We have our main character, Takemichi Hanagaki, who just learned that his girlfriend from middle school has died in a car accident. So what does our protagonist do? Grieve like a normal person? Nope. Gain random powers? Exactly. Takemichi is weak. Too weak to be real; the dude (26 years old) cries at the slightest thing. It can't even be explained by mental regression as it's still his adult consciousness. He didn't even physicaly age. Still exactly the same height as from 12 YEARS ago (shown in the opening). Not explained at all. Episode after episode we get him getting his ass beat, crying and then comes, "I was too weak. I need to get stronger." and the audience is cheering, HOPING that this weak punk gets stronger. Hoping that he can save his former girlfriend. But no. The author of this must be really depressed. Takemichi doesn't get stronger. He doesn't achieve anything. He leeches off of his friends. His friends save him. He keeps going back in time to save ONE girl that he broke up with 12 years ago. This anime has too many plot holes. Takemichi's power doesn't make any sense. How did he get it? Not explained. Chalked up to magic. I don't know what the author was on, but if he wanted to make a crappy character that everyone is going to hate, he succeeded. Takemichi stands to gain nothing from preventing Hina's death. He even says as much himself. She might despise him. He toys with others lives just to satisfy his selfish whims. The anime makes it seem like he's getting stonger, he's learning. No. He doesn't learn anything. It's just 24 episodes of, 1. Takemichi getting beat trying to be cool. 2. Takemichi crying. 3. Takemichi "learning" something. He stays the same weak punk he was at the start of the anime. At the very least the soundtrack is decent. The animation isn't the best but it's good. Still, I wouldn't advise watching this one. There a ton of other better anime you can spend your time on. This one just trying to garner sympathy by killing off cool and interesting characters.
Don't waste your time.
(Last episode is good though.)
