The story itself portrays the unfortunate life changes of both Daikichi (a single man) and Rin (an orphaned little girl). This is portrayed in such a very detailed manner that as you watch on we are shown the difficulties anyone would have if ever in a similar situation. You literally see their relationship blossom as they became familiar with each other.
If you are a sensitive person like me, it will have you tearing up at times but also have you laughing at other parts. Truly had pulled a few of my emotions teehehehe :)
When you start watching it, please do not let the graphics stop you because as you watch on, the story line actually boosts up the graphics; and at times the art work goes wonderfully with the scene.
