How has this manga not gotten a higher rating? Sheer moe heartthrob, adorable art style, and a bland, empty protagonist to slip into like a blanket out of the dryer! It's gold! This story's also got some seriously silly self-deprecating otaku's frequently deliver golden lines such as, "The path to OTAKUDOM is open to everyone... let us welcome our brother in arms, 'comrades'." Fuck, I couldn't stop smiling throughout!
All this pales in comparison to how enjoyable the heartthrob Makoto-chan is! In so many cutesy BL one of the romantic pair is illustrated to practically be androgynous, if not feminine leaning. Makoto-chan, in a most surreal sense, embody's masculinity with a feminine leaning, bypassing androgyny altogether! He's illustrated to shout moe but subtly maintain his masculinity.
