I hear that Hellsing Ultimate was the anime I should have watched but I wanted to get a little backstory. But the backstory, like i said, sucks.
I suggest to all that you just skip all the way to episode 13 where there is an ounce of good. The ending is the first time I felt a sliver of interest. The battle is amazingly done.
Overall this anime gets a 3 again and if I ever do pull it back out of it's boring folder it'll be to watch episode 13 with a friend.
