You will end up liking the characters a lot, each on them having their problems making you care for them, but after so many episodes that go from action to sadness and more, you will stumble upon the 12th episode wich leaves you with nothing but shit.
The last episode is just a clusterfuck full of genocide everywhere, a lot of death(classic anime shit ending). I mean one moment you're like holy shit they are powerless against these fuckers, holy shit that guy dies and also him or her(or actually idk anymore), that guy is actually winning I think, actually not anymore and wait HOLD THE F UP IS HE GOING TO SUICIDE?! - This is basically episode 12 in a nutshell.
This anime seems to be abandoned since 2015 considering I've seen this much later in 2022, and was made only to promote the manga so you can start reading where the anime left (Chapter 28 or 27, something like that, up until chapter 40 or 42 idk).
Its a shame and a spit to the face. I myself will start reading the manga I think when I have time but if you don't want an anime that forces you to continue with the manga, well, you shouldn't watch it, sadly...
I would've gave the anime a 7 as I was thinking in the beggining or who knows maybe even an 8 in the but fucked me over with the ending so it will be a 6.
SO IT WAS NICE WHILE IT LASTED, BUT ENDING THE ENDING WAS JUST DUMB.
