Preliminary (12/53 chp)
So I didn't have any expectations going into this webcomic because I knew it was more of a side project/collaboration project with a band, but I still gave it a shot. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! This comic really has a lot of potential.

Story 7/10 -
The story follows 7 different characters, who all have different circumstances and back stories and their fateful encounter with each other in a world that is threatened by these tiger-like monsters called Beom. These seven guys form a team to fight against these monsters and protect humanity. The plot is simple, but gets the job done. There is an immediate sense of threat and urgency which drives the main characters forward.

Art 9/10 -
God damn, REDICE Studio does not miss! I mean what would you expect coming from the same studio who adapted Solo Leveling and Omniscient Reader? The art is gorgeous and dynamic. All the character designs are very cool and the beom designs are even cooler.

Characters 8/10 -
All the characters have different personalities and backgrounds. They also have a pretty fun dynamic with each other. I like how the beom also has varied personalities and morals. It makes them seem more realistic instead of just having them be evil villians that the main septet have to destroy. There are only 12 episodes released so far, so it is difficult to get much character development done in such a short amount of time, especially with the huge cast of characters that the webcomic has already introduced, but there is a lot of potential for this story to really develop these characters more in the future.

Overall I'm really enjoying this series. There is nothing particularly mind blowing or out of the box about this series, but the premise is unique enough and the characters are likable and have interesting interactions with each other. If the story develops well, I could see this series becoming really strong. It's a very good start with a lot of potential!

P.S. I want to give a shout out to episode 4 with the soundtrack that was made. The song is a banger and it's very cool to see a band utilize the music that is allowed on the webtoon platform in order to make a theme song for their own manhwa. I'm excited to see how this crossing of mediums can be utilized in future webtoons!
