Story -
Just to state the obvious, this manga is all about the everyday life of a child. However it's much more than that. A lot can be taken out of this manga and many lessons are learnt along the way. What makes everything about Ryushika Ryushika different is the lovable characters, but i'll get onto that later. Every chapter has a different little day that the MC goes through and with it, lots of outrageous incidents which threaten the world itself. Read this and expect to find yourself smiling at the simplest things which make the manga what it is; Heartwarming.
Art -
I haven't read many series, so i am not sure of this area. However what stood out was the colour. Every page is coloured and in my opinion was extremely refreshing. The character designs are well drawn and fit the personality of the characters, which to me is what really matters the most. A little part which tickles my fancy is the focus on the expressions made. I am impressed by how much of an effect this has on the enjoyment of the manga.
Character -
This is what it's all about. Ryushika is an adorable character that just melts your heart away. One way to describe Ryushika would be to say she is the human figure of innocence. I have yet to find a side of her that isn't cute. Ryushika is also a reasonable character in turns of reality. She is what drives the story. Twist one bit of her personality and the manga would completely change.
Enjoyment -
It may seem like i am over selling it, but in my terms if anything makes me laugh out loud more than twice in a maximum of 25 pages then it is awesome. Too often i found myself just smiling throughout the whole chapter. It's too bad that i can't read more of the series.
Overall -
It is great, i don't think it would matter too much about that genre the reader is interested in. Just read, smile and enjoy
