It's designed for you to pick your favorite girls, but then 2 of them got basically no screen time at all, which felt a little unfair.
Also, the story definitely gravitates towards a shoujo romance in the latter half and it is less of a comedy. It has the normal shoujo comedic clichés like the badly timed confession, misunderstandings, etc. The first half of the show I really liked, while the second I wouldn't bother besides the character centered episodes.
If you have nothing better, it is a fun little time though it drags in the second half overall.
