One big problem is how the female MC is portrayed. She is a bold and shameless character but the show (and it was probably in the source material as well) dwells on these aspects for too long. (How can this be PG13?!)
The story sends a message that the MC's behaviour is OK when it is actually not normal and potentially dangerous. It promotes and maybe even normalises impropriety. I am mortified when I think of how some people may try to imitate the MC's boldness and not realise when they are crossing the line. (I want to point out that the only reason this was not a problem in the show is because the male lead is rather gentlemanlike!)
I could discuss several other reasons I dropped this show but this is the main problem I wanted to draw attention to.
I suggest that those people who want to keep their watchlists pure/clean and/or care about decency don't watch this anime despite the hype. I know this show scratches the itches of many viewers.
