I watched a positive video review a long time ago and finally started the GTO anime 2 days ago. I'm now on episode 35 and I think I'm gonna drop it. The first dozen or so episodes were extremely entertaining and I had a really good time. After that though, it started to get kind of repetitive and then just kind of boring. Every now and then there was another good episode but it just seems like they're artificially drawing it out. On top of that, others have said the ending is bad as it cuts off from the manga. I'm just really disappointed as they really had something great at the start. I even told a couple of my friends to watch it after my initial experience.
