The Season 1 of this Great, because you don't have t wait for an episode to get released because of unbearable pacing issues, i still enjoy since i'd benched watch it late at night which undeniable that i'd enjoy it.
Season 2 is meh.
Story:
It continued where it left off, but the first and second episodes if i remembers is kinda silly which just them discussing/negotiating to return back the enemy's land which they claim when they won the war. It will not be a problem if the conversation is a bit interesting or at least understadable for dorks like me. And now it enters the Harem formula which now is silly.
Characters:
Their Fine, Souma is just a bit one sided or bland, typical good guy. He needed a little bit of push, he feels like he knows everything despite being there for 6 months. What he really need is a bit of big screw up and how he's gonna handle that big problem. I'd wish he implement more ideas from the modern world because its interesting.
Liscia is just there and the other characters.
Poncho is bae, but the anime kinda forgot him idk including tomoe.
The Empress is considered to be a saint but her impression of souma sounds like she is a whore
Sound:
Idk, i'm no sound expert and im tone deaf. Average i guess
Pacing:
Horrible, sometimes too fast or too slow. Sometimes they forgot to add a little bit of scenes or details to bury some holes.
Visuals:
Maybe a bit above average, i've seen artstyles similar to this but whatever they look good nonetheless
Enjoyment:
I'd benchwatched this badboy in dawn (Season 1), cant deny that i didn't enjoyed it. But Season 2 is.... meh but who knows maybe in the later episodes it will improve
