So I thought I'd try reading the manga adaptation of this, as I know one of my friends is more likely to read it than play the visual novel. But this is possibly the worst adaptation I've ever seen.
You don't just condense 4hrs of a visual novel and poorly jiggle it around a bit so you can squeeze it into 80 pages and expect it to work.
I beg of you: if you're interested in Tomoyo After, please play the original visual novel that's available on Steam and very cheap when on sale. This adaptation is beyond awful, and I have no idea how it has such a positive response other than that it must be people who have jumped straight from the anime. But even then, it makes no sense to me how it's so positively received when it was so rushed that there's not really any content at all.
I dropped it after Chapter 2 because it was so awful I couldn't bear it anymore.
