This show was a joy to look forwards to in a season of rather heavier anime. The humor is a mix of slapstick-meets-was-the-author-on-psychoactive-drugs-while-writing, which is everyone's favourite genre of comedy. Seriously, the writers pushed the boundary of what it means to be a vampire into the next parallel universe. The character designs were insanely creative, grotesque, and just all around fun.
I loved the dynamic of our little trio; particularly our pet armadillo John who is the cutest anime mascot since the days of Happy from Fairy Tail. I do feel like the gags started losing a bit of steam near the last 2-3 episodes, but honestly I'd say the enjoyment level of the show remained steady throughout it's run.
Also, the OP and ED ABSOLUTELY slap. I had so much fun watching this.
