The show as many will know is based on a JRPG so perhaps you think it will be about average since the game itself is pretty fun? Well, you would be wrong. The show is by far not the worst thing I have ever seen but it is far from the best. The story just feels overstretched and lacking any sort of soul.
The art used is actually fairly good, better than a 5 but then nothing special.
The OP and ED at pretty standard. The general sound effects suck like they really are not worthy of 2021, perhaps they are from 2000. Voices were fine but then didn't always feel like they matched character or personality.
With character, I would honestly say that they just bore me. I think Arashi is great since she is cute but she also is probably the only one who really you can feel anything for but then that is light humour. The main cast and the two main protagonists just, I honestly can say you just don't really care about them at all since so much of the story is dull in presentation.
The overall show itself has some weird issues. For example in episode 8 after finding out the horrible truth everyone should have switched instead some stayed but why!? The wonderland style corridor was cool, the rabbit ear holes on Arashi's hood was pretty cool and the plot twists were loyal to the game. Not all of it sucks but most of it does. The worst part of all of this was the final episode was just so pointless, nothing happens and it time skips and I just end feeling that I couldn't care less about what the characters are going to do and it gives you many plot holes, the biggest one is why they had to choose such a bad ending.
3/10. A real push.
