To get straight to the point, I genuinely enjoyed it. I turned my brain off halfway and watched it for the second time since I had first watched and lost it years ago. I haven’t been able to just kick back and watch an anime without worrying about dropping it or thinking it was absolutely horrible in a while.
Even though Gokukoku no Brynhildr is a harem anime, featuring an assortment of girls of all kinds, I was also able to enjoy the story aspect. I wouldn’t say there was much comedy, but the character interactions stayed entertaining regardless. A fair bit of interactions and jokes seem to rely on nudity, sex, and the harem aspects, but you get used to it I suppose.
Overall, I wouldn’t praise Gokukoku no Brynhildr too much, as it still had me wondering if some pieces of nudity were really needed, for example, but I would say that it had me entertained.
