Mixed Feelings

I personally don’t know how people really enjoy this show. The music is great, the animation isn’t bad, but the amount of sex and violence is very grotesque and takes away from the storyline. Some of the violent scenes made no sense, and I can’t understand why they were included. Its possible I missed something but personally I don’t get the whole Akira and Ryo love story. I understand the ending, but it seemed to just jump there with no character development or real reason. Not the worst anime I’ve seen, but I definitely would never recommend it.
