The series is very much episodic in nature, that while connected has a mini slice of life for each arc. Vivy starts with a complete bang and a very intriguing premise. I would say that the first half was so brilliantly engaging and tackles interesting these at the same time.
The conclusion of the story isn't necesarilly bad. It is just simply cliche and thus I envy younger children who watch this because the cliche aspect was done really well and emotionally charged. I could see someone shedding a tear.
The theme of what a heart is and also about following one's purpose was done quite phenomenally. If you're expecting some scifi theme that's where you will be disappointed cause that part is just the outer layer, while the concept of purpose and definitions of the heart are explored deeper.
There are some twist and turns here and there but nothing too crazy. Overall if you love slice of lice anime that tackles interesting themes this is definitely one of few good ones on recent years.
