Mixed Feelings
Bland MC which works as audience stand-in meets loli android which immediately begs to procreate with him (no harm done because it's not really a little girl even though she looks and talks like one!). Some non-human races which we barely see in the movie wage an all-out war for some mcguffin I can't even remember the name of and are on the verge of destroying the world they so intend to rule.
The movie tries to set a dark, solemn tone but I could never buy into it. It all feels like an excuse to delve deep into the writer's loli kinks, as more time is spent on our main couple's cringey romance than on developing the lore, races and powerful beings that define the dynamics of this world and yet some of them we don't even get to see.
The main problem here is that the movie tries to recreate the same mechanic as the series it's based on, where the MC outsmarts the world's rules and his rivals to win the game (here being war). However, Disboard and its rules don't exist yet. Rather it's the MC making up the rules here, which the opponents don't even know or care about. Opponents explicitly acknowledge that he is manipulating them but still fall for his trap, because the plot needs them to.
The movie is saved by some gorgeous animation and a nice soundtrack, but there's a lot you need to overlook to get some enjoyment out of it.
