Its not like I didn't like it all there were some things that i did enjoy as in the Akaza fight and Enmus power was acually really cool until they absolutly buchered what could have been a cool look into the sub conscience of Zenitsu and Innosuke but no they play it off as a comedy gag which wasn't even funny and just made me cringe. Also while they try to make you feel bad for the demon after they die and become irrelevant to the plot they didn't even try with this demon.
Nezuko at this point is just a plot device that the author can use like her power has basically no restrictions and she doesn't even have any deeper character besides im a a GOOD demon that doesn't eat people. The rest of the characters have no character progression either Tanjiro has the most progression but that's like saying a snail moves faster than a rock Innosuke still the angry nature boy and Zenitsu is still the cowardly scream your ears off wimp. Rengoku actually was a cool character a bit underused but the kinda guy that inspires the mc and i actually thought he was decent if a bit underused.
Overall I think that it was worse than then the movie cause that first anime original episode nearly made me drop it right then and there cause it was so boring. I can't say that it was completely awful and bad cause at least the Akaza fight kept my adrenaline high and I can actually appreciate him as a character cause i've read the manga when I too as a young weeb was tricked into thinking that demon slayer was a good show but unfortunately all the money they threw into that fight made the cgi look janky as hell in the train scene although i can forgive that overall besides one fight demon slayer still has paper thin characters weak story telling but god tier animation and will probably be hailed as the greatest anime of all time someday, but that's all my opinion so take it with a grain of salt
