Preliminary (7/13 eps)
I have not read the manga nor have I actually completed the anime yet. There will be an update on this review once I have. Moving along:

Code:Breaker is a very well done anime. In terms of characters. I really enjoyed watching the MC female lead which is a significant rarity for myself. Usually female leads are overly sexualized or have a character variety of two or three personalities. Not to mention most animes have Male MC Leads. I very muched enjoyed Sakurakouji's personality as well as speech. As for the Code:Breakers, I also found their interactions extremely satisfying. Yuuki and Toki were my personal favorites as one is very innocent and cute, while the other reminded me of Chuuya in a way. The others were very well written as well.

In terms of storyline. I would say that it isn't one of the most original storylines but definitely doesn't make it too predictable. I do like the experimental aspect and the mysterious parts to it so far. In short: it's a very well performed anime but can be predicted at times without the most significant plot twists.

Art was pretty good. Although the way that Rei's eyes are so narrow do bother me a bit but as an artist myself that's just a personal preference. Sound was well done for the time it was created in. It definitely doesn't reach That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime but also doesn't go so low as One Piece. A good middle.

Now the part that I've been wanting to mention for forever now.

THE ANIMALS ARE SO CUTE. "DOG" WAS AMAZING. "PUPPY" WAS ALSO EVEN MORE AMAZING. THAT YAWNING TURTLE THAT I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED TO SEE WAS AMAZING. I'm a huge animal fanatic (call me heartless but only if they're cute) and it was definitely well done in that part.

I'll update this once I finish the last five episodes but overall this is my view on it. I would recommend this one 100%

Edit: Just finished the show and my overall of this hasn't changed. It's still really great even though the ending left some loose ends, but that just means a season two is nigh. Look it up on google, it says it'll release sometime 2022. Idk, I just hope so because this anime was pretty freaking good. I still love Yuuki the most. Especially when he goes lost. Quality stuff.
