For a manga written back in 1974 = Yes, I would highly recommend fans of older mangas and "horror" mangas to read this.
The story sort of reminds me of Orochi, in that the horror is not supernatural rather it is the horror that is within the humans themselves.
In terms of artwork, the facial expressions and certain panels during important moments are very impressive and very well drawn.
As this manga only has 8 chapters, there is only 1 main character (who explored in lots of detail) and various minor characters.

I'm surprised that Japan (seen as a conservative country), back in the 70s was able to write a manga regarding such relationships. During the 70s, Japan was witnessing lots of economic growth so its possible people back then were more open minded?
