For those who like Holmisian mysteries , history ,traveling, folklore and mythology , you will enjoy this anime. It has some stereotypical humor, such as one of the servants having a monocle , which is a typical look for a gentleman in Victorian England. There is a lot of action , and fighting , as well as solving mysteries. You will encounter creatures , from Fallen Angels to Demons ,to Hellhounds , to ghosts and of course Grim Reapers. You will also encounter various historical references in this period, such as the Great Exhibition in London , and Queen Victoria herself . You will also encounter references to historical mysteries such as Jack the Ripper and the murder of Richard Duke of York , and Edward IV in the Tower of London. Overall these facts alone set the stage for what I believe to be one of the best anime in the mystery of genre to date.
