At the start, I had high hopes. Japan did interesting takes on western stories before with creative liberties and unique approaches. But when I saw Ms. Hudson as a busty redhead being super happy go lucky and having hots for Holmes, my heart broke. I forced myself through couple of episodes but all I got was more and more anger.
It was as if someone took dearest toy of my childhood, shat them out and then glued a big nasty and overly used dildo to its forehead. Everything I loved so much about the series was raped. No other word describes it as aptly as that one.
Should you watch it. No if you love the original works. Otherwise, you might give it a shot. There are plenty of overrated anime out there, this one might deserve its score. Art and sound were good.
