Basically the VN is divided into 3 parts:-
1. Introductory chapter - covers the trio life in high school
2. Closing chapter - covers their life in university (set 3 years after the Introductory chapter).
3. Coda - covers their life as adult to finally getting married (set 2 years after the events of Closing chapter).

-The anime covers the Introductory chapter beautifully, the music is awesome and so is the drama.
-The closing chapter(CC) is the longest and least entertaining(imo).
The closing chapter has 4 routes based on the four girls :- Setsuna and three other filler girl.
- The coda is the last route and climax of the story, it's a continuation of setsuna route from closing chapter.

In simple words, if you choose the filler girls route in CC, the protagonist marries them and settle, setsuna, kazusa gets pysco blah blah. However if you choose the setsuna route in CC, you unlocks coda. And in coda you can either continue with Setsuna to get Setsuna True ending (TE) or betray Setsuna and choose Kazusa TE.

This manga adapts the Kazusa TE who is the best girl btw but is very rushed so only reading it would be a really bad experience.
Imo the best and quickest way to experience the series is:-
1. Watch the anime for introductory chapter (adapts VN perfectly)
2. Read the manga for CC, the CC is the manga is covered in volume two and three( Removes the filler from VN and gives a good short version)
3. For coda, if you like setsuna then watch any setsuna TE playthrough on youtube and if you like Kazusa then watch her TE.
You can't play the coda VN as it's English patch is yet not Available online but enthusiastic fans have made playthrough with English sub.
