Characters: The star of the show is definitely not the main character, or at least this first season and the way it's written he's not an "amazing" MC. He's very much a blank slate which I do dislike because it's open to self-insert but because there was a purpose of him being so I give that a pass. The real stars are the side characters and how the our MC is used as a McGuffin to get to their stories and how they affect not only our MC but how they would still be able to solve their problems without the MC yet our main star does make an impact on them that makes it intresting.
Sound and Art: The Ending sequence song is actually my favorite, the opening is okay but I need to be in a certain mood to watch it. The soundtrack is either you remember it and feel it or almost non-existente even when it is present. I'm aware the animation for the opening changes at certain checkpoints of the anime. The art is unique but not memorable, the character designs do their job at making sure that even if I don't remember them by name I can still recall their purpose and personal story.
Overall: Yea It's really good, even though I say it's a 7/10 it's only because the sound wasn't really standout and it was carried by the story which means this adapatation was just doing it's job and not going beyond using the advantage of it being an animated.
