It depicts humanity's nature as no other manga.
What would happen if a random internet site starts granting every wish people desire? Would we have world peace? Good global economy? No more diseases? Of course not. The world would be total chaos.
What would happen if a highschool boy gets the opportunity to know a porn actress? Would he get an autograph or a just a pic cause he's underaged? Of course not.
Imagine a random criminal/serial murder/dangerous person all of sudden saves the earth. Would you still hate that person for it's past actions, or would you thank him/her for saving the planet?
Without spoiling, I think some of the best parts are those which have destroyed background due to some kind of monster attack, and people taking photos in front of it, or people using their phone, or going to work/school, completely ignorant about their surroundings. This (and lots of other scenes) show how people (and society itself) don't really care about anything outside their own life.
Is every thing of this completely fucked up? It is. The plot and characters are politically incorrect at it's top, and that's what it makes the story so different.
This manga makes you ask yourself all this stuff, and does it while having amazing Oku drawings all over the place. There are some chapters that have up to 4 double page spreads.
Sex segments are really not that long, those are there just for character development and it's usually 2 pages max without any kind of "hardocre stuff". Fight scenes get repetitive nearing it's end, but it's clearly not the main aspect of the manga.
I loved Oku's work with Gantz and Inuyashiki. Both endings were kinda meh, but I love how he understands society from multiple points of view.
If you are interested in these aspects of the manga, I highly reccomend it. If you are looking for something that involves lots of fighting or sex scenes, I do not.
