Just the beginning of this year, I wished that I could fin 10's on my list other than One Piece, and note that I only give 10's to series that I HONESTLY ENJOY TO THE HEART, something that made my day better throughout weeks or maybe months, not something that hooks me to watch the next episode, or makes me wanna buy its merch or something that makes me think about it for a few days, NO!
A 10 on my scale is something that brings tears to my eyes when I watch it again or reminisce about it.
Black clover began Badly, you know cliche tropes, SCREAMING short white kid who has all the cards stacked against him, but Doesn't lose hope to become the strongest an there is the secondary character who is his total opposite, then the woman who hates our protagonist but secretly loves him, like shounen cope all over again.
BUT, I don't know what, but something struck a chord with me in this story, as it felt like an unpolished diamond that would come to light if given time to Tabata Sensei; he would Do it. An after Hungry Joker, this was the least I could o, trust him.
An I waited, watched with agony, all through the cliches, AN ALAS MY FELLOW ANIME ENTHUSIASTS THE ROCKETS REACH SPACE. IT ERECTED. THE MASTERPIECE. BLACK EFFIN CLOVER. MY HORMONES SHOT THROUGH THE BOLLOCKY ROOF.
Just watch it guys, the most I can say is, I don't give 9's easily, and I DID to Black Clover; that's the highest praise I can factually give to any anime. Thanks for reading.
